I called a plumbing service who does a lot of work with UFW and they were out the next morning with no hesitation to remove mold and start the remediation process. I filed an insurance claim (first time on a rental and was green to the process) and I asked if UFW would be willing to meet me on-site to help "guide" the adjuster through the damage the day of. The president of the company and project PM weren't obligated to meet me on-site, but they both showed up and offered invaluable guidance to both me and the adjuster. I would've only noticed things in a vacuum where their experience lead to a domino effect of other things that needed to be included in my claim. They could've just waited for the approval from my insurance company and done the work they were cleared to do, but they went out of their way to help make sure I got everything covered from the water damage. They made phone calls to my insurance company on my behalf, which they did not have to do and could've told me, no, but their customer service was fantastic in this aspect to ensure I didn't come out of pocket more than my deductible. I was able to text the President and PM any time of the day any day of the week and if I didn't get a response immediately (rare), I got one within 10 min. I was very satisfied with not only their remediation work to stop any mold from growing but also their craftsmanship in the repair process. Concrete demolition and subsequent slab repair, sheetrock repair, carpet installation, baseboard repair, etc. were all performed to a very high quality for my repair. Once the repair was complete they assisted me to the finish line with supplements that were needed and I got every penny I was rightfully owed. Their work, customer service, responsiveness, and availability helped me through this very stressful process because they also had to work around tenants in the property as opposed to a vacant property. My tenants had no complaints about being disturbed during the rather large repair. I would recommend UFW to anyone because at the end of the day they made the customer feel like I had their undivided attention and went above and beyond what they were contracted to do."
